A broken heart

In every lie the truth always comes to the surface. No secret is ever kept. There will always be the "I'm not suppose to tell anyone but I tell you everything anyways soo....." I just wish there was a way of telling the truth without hurting people. What does it say about a person, when their heart is broken because they broke someone else's?
